Welcome to the 16th monthly update to AidanBooth.com.
Today’s update is a special one, because you’re going to hear a unique success story from one of my students…you’ll discover how Dave Christensen transformed years of struggle online, to finally find success, in just 6 months.
You’ll find lots of intriguing information in this video interview, including:
- The “old-school” monetization method that Dave’s had success with
- How many websites Dave’s built (and his success rate)
- How much Dave’s earning (and why you don’t need many websites!)
- How much traffic Dave’s websites are receiving (this will probably surprise you)
- How many top rankings Dave has got
- What Dave attributes his new-found success to
- Dave’s favorite SEO tactics (I agree with Dave 200%!)
- And MUCH more…

Thanks for this Aidan, just the kind of thing I need to see on a Monday morning! Dave’s done well, hopefully I can follow in his footsteps!
Awesome as always Aidan. Great to hear of people succeeding. Looking forward to many more success stories.
Great interview, Dave & Aiden! I second Dave that Aiden´s programs are dynamite and can really get you on the right track. I enjoyed the interview and I´m sure it will help keep me motivated as I push forward, step-by-step, to get where Dave is now! thanks for sharing. 😉
What a great share Aidan and best of luck to Dave demonstrating persistence and putting into action what’s being taught!
Hi Guys,
I think the most useful tip is going slowly and not expecting an immediate return – the old tortoise vs hare seems to be true.
Also the fact that Dave didn’t give up and just kept going and success came to him.
Best wishes to you and Dave
Regards
Nick
Aidan and Dave bringing the perfect tonic to keep resetting what I am doing. I am pretty strict, if Aidan doesn’t think it something I should be doing with one of my sites, I don’t do it. Drown out that noise everywhere.
I like Dave’s mindset. He seems to have it spot on. I also have dabbled in network marketing but at the end of the day all I wanted was a passive income as well. I spend over 40 years paying into a pension (what a waste of money that was) This is going to be my pension now!
Awesome encouragement. Thanks for posting this.
Awesome interview. I’m getting there as well, thanks purely to Aidan’s teachings. It’s very motivational, and glad to hear about your “don’t quit” attitude, Dave (and the skydiving!)
These interviews with “ordinary” people who have started to make commissions are much more valuable than listening to an experienced marketer who wants you to know how many thousands they have made with their massive marketing budget. Good luck to Dave, there’s hope for all newbies yet.
Thank you…I need to hear this today….it isn’t a matter of if I’ll make it, just when I make it!
Just love the story about the sky jumping and the real message therin. Never give up but there are times when that extra bit of support is necessary to give us an extra impetus.
Well done Dave
Great motivational interview. Well done Dave, you deserve the success you are seeing 🙂
Thanks Aidan and Dave,
Helpful advice there – I guess the main trick is to continue and plough on with the initial goals that you set yourselves in any business, ignore the possible distractions that come your way through ‘Marketers’ telling you about the latest and best system.
Stick to one, possibly two people to follow and follow their system to the letter and persevere at it until you see the results and do not deviate until you do. Once results appear, then rinse and repeat.
Learn from your failures as well – a way I have been looking at things lately is familiar to watching my youngest son Aidan learning to walk…he failed hundreds of times when first starting out learning to walk but kept getting up and trying to master this new skill. He could see his elder brother running around and wanted to copy him and eventually he has now mastered walking and is so much happier for it. So I see myself as my young Aidan, wanting to learn enough to walk then run like the adult Aidan.
Jonathan
Hey Jonathan, great way to sum things up, and I can’t think of a better analogy than that of your son learning to walk 🙂
Fantastic interview Dave and Aidan! Thanks for sharing your journey so far Dave! It’s certainly helped me stay focused and as others have said, it’s only a matter of time until I start seeing good results… Aidan your always coming up with great ideas, these success interviews are all inspiring, so I thank you!
Again thanks for sharing Dave. I particularly liked your thoughts on Reverse Engineering tactic…something I have got stuck on, however will be pushing forward with this now!
Thank you for sharing your story with us Dave.
I am very very happy for Dave he is a Great fellow on the forum.
You both deserve a “Congrats!”.
See You,
Joe.
Thanks for this great interview Aidan, very motivational and well done Dave.
Thank you for sharing this interview it is very inspirational and gave me a renewed sense of never give up when even through the negative views of family saying it will never work, its too hard, there is too much competition.Congratulations dave.
Aidan,
My concerns are: 1. what course Dave took with you? 2. What is reverse engineering? 3. What course should I take to improve my back linking skills?
Kind Regards,
Frederick
Hi Frederick,
Dave has been through many of my courses…most recently, “Page One Evolution” and “Your First $500 Online”. Dave has also recently been a 1 on 1 student with me.
Reverse Engineering is when you look at what your competition has done to get their top rankings, and then you go about replicating their strategy…getting links where they’ve gotten links etc.
As for improving your backlinking skills…right now all my products are off the market (sold out). When I sell my products I normally put a limit on them so that I can look after the members better (less people means I can help more). If you have access to any of my past courses, you’ll be able to learn a lot about link building though. I’m not sure of any other training program I can recommend at the moment unfortunately…
Right now all of your products are off the market, “sold out” you say, and I say how is that possible
if it is an electronic product??? It is understandable if you want to limit how many people you’re able to help, but to say you’re “sold out” is a joke. Go to any guitar site that has courses in guitar playing and their courses are always available. You might have to pay more money than they originally sold for but they are available, and they have thousands of members. So here is a guy that is a subscriber of yours and all you do is write unfortunately this or that. I don’t get that kind of thinking.
I am glad that Dave is being successful but he was a recent one on one student of yours so I would
expect that if you do what you say you do that he should be successful. Most of us cannot afford one on one tutoring.
Hi Paul, thanks for your comment.
The reason my products have sold out, is because there’s always a limit to the number of people I can help at any one time…my products are not “download and forget” style products, most of them have some element of ongoing continued support…that’s why they’re capped. What’s more, if I say I’m releasing 100 copies of a product, that’s it…it doesn’t get “opened up” again in the future (that’d be very rare)…so another reason my courses are sold out is to stand by my word.
As for 1 on 1 coaching, it’s not essential to success…lots of people succeed without having any coaching at all, in fact, it’s the minority who do have coaching…right now I’ve got just FOUR 1 on 1 students, yet I’m always receiving emails from people telling me they’re making sales etc. So coaching is definitely not essential (although it obviously does help the people who get it).
I’m sorry that I don’t have any permanently open courses right now…but you’ve given me an idea for a blog post, perhaps I can write up a basic guide to making money online without needing a course…perhaps that’d help people…
Thanks again for your comment/thoughts!
Muito bom!
Parabens pela entrevista! É importante mesmo persistir e manter foco no objetivo final! Espero que eu consiga!
By the way, could you share which are Dave’s websites?
Cheers!
Obrigado Joao!!
Glad you liked this, to be fair to Dave, I can’t share his websites unfortunately…
